Direction I of seven

Personal Guidance

Established

Most people carry their biggest questions alone. AGA gives each person a guardian companion for the inner work — guidance that remembers who you are and stays honest about what it can and cannot do.

Who it serves

Individuals seeking direction, reflection, and daily practice.

The experience

Answer ten questions — three fixed, seven written for you — and AGA hands you your compass. From there it is one continuing conversation: ikigai mapping, a dharma journey, guided meditation with a real curriculum, your path reviewed over time, and a memory you can read and edit yourself.

Strongest evidence

Live at myaga.org: onboarding, chat, three journeys, Your Path, My Memory.

For the technically curious
  • backend/web/onboarding.py (server-driven ten questions; no fabricated fallback)
  • frontend/src/components/journeys/registry.jsx (ikigai · dharma · meditation)
  • backend/web/meditation.py (curriculum + timed practice sessions)
  • backend/web/memory.py (user-editable distilled memory)

What we measure

Returning-guidance rate. Consented members who return for a second conversation within 14 days of onboarding, divided by members who completed onboarding.

Definition approved 2026-08-27; not yet instrumented — no live counters in Phase 1

Boundaries — what AGA does not claim

  • Reflective guidance, not therapy, medical, or financial advice.
  • If AGA's mind is unreachable, the product waits and says so — it never fabricates a reply.
  • Your memory is yours to read, edit, and delete.

Inside this direction

  • Ikigai · Meditation · Dharma

The three Core journeys, run inside the conversation itself.

  • Your Signals

A personal research feed drawn from your ikigai — with a 'The World' view beside it.
